The Raven’s Return: Crossing Over Edgar Allan Poe and the Spirits of the Past

There are some sessions where we chat, teach and clear. And then there are the sessions where Spirit basically says, “Okay, we’re going deeper today.” This one was the second kind.

What started as a casual community call turned into a full-on exploration of earthbound hybrids, guide training, magical warfare and… yes… Edgar Allan Poe.

One of the most fascinating parts of this session was how naturally we moved from everyday questions like “Can I close portals myself?” into “Can we check on historical figures who were targeted, fragmented or magically interfered with?” And the answer was: yes, we can. Yes, we should. And yes, some of them are still carrying energetic residue that can be helped.

That’s where Edgar Allan Poe came in.

Someone in the group asked about him, not just out of curiosity, but because his energy has always felt… layered. Tragic, creative, haunted. We looked at whether some of what he wrote, especially “The Raven”, could have been connected to an actual wandering aspect of himself. Not just a poem. Not just symbolism. That what he produced in the physical was deeply influenced by what he was battling in the unseen.

What we saw was not a man who was simply “dark” or “gothic,” but someone who had been impacted by directed attacks and magical interference. Pieces missing. Not a clean split. More like a shattering. Which means that even long after death, some of that can still be held in overlays, seals or old magic.

So we did what we do.

We called in the guides, we asked for sigils and seals to be checked, we asked for any fragments caught in those loops to be located, and we worked the case the way we would a regular SRT session. And here’s the beautiful part. It wasn’t just about him. Someone immediately said, “Then we should check his wife, too.” Because that’s how this community thinks. We don’t just clear the famous one. We clear the field.

Which explains why their energy feels so jagged and angry. We talked about SRT guides training alongside us. We talked about ley line guardians. We talked about dragons only working with certain galactic races. And we did it all in that very human, very warm way this group always does, with jokes, validation and “you’re not crazy” moments.

But Poe was the highlight. Because when you realize a writer whose work has echoed through time may still have parts of himself tangled in old magic, and that a small group of modern mystics can actually assist with that… you start to understand how powerful this work is.
